Hello lovelies, I've decided to do a giveaway for UK residents to win a MAC lipstick of their choice! I enter giveaways myself and I thought why not do my own?! I recently won a MAC lipstick of my choice through a giveaway and I really wanted to send one to one of my followers whichever they would like. Comment on this post which shade you would like to win!
The rules are:
1. You must be living in the UK at the time of shipping
2. This giveaway will last until June 28th 15:30 BST and a winner will be announced that evening
3. You must follow via Google Friend Connect as well as Bloglovin', I'm aware GFC can be down pretty much the majority of the time but if you the two overlapped sqaures in the top right hand corner of the members section it will bring up the list of my members and will say 'follow' again in the top right hand corner, and that always works
4. The choice of MAC lipstick must be from their permanent lipstick range which retail at £15.00 - you can find a list of shades on their website here
5. Make sure you RT or tweet about the giveaway so that more people have a chance of entering and winning
One of you will be lucky enough to recieve a MAC lipstick of your choice, happy choosing and good luck!xxxx

When I fist heard of Make Up Academy, a £1 makeup range, I was sooo excited. It must have been around 3 or 4 years ago now when all their products retailed at £1, I've tried various products out such as their blushers, concealers, eyeshadows and nail polishes but for some crazy reason I've never bought any of their lipsticks, and they're just £1. I've seen mixed reviews on these lipsticks, but for £1 it is a great way to expand your lipstick collection if you're on a budget. I chose 5 from their lipstick range which have a satin/cremesheen finish which are all in the black packaging. They do have a matte range but I find matte lipsticks drying, and seen as though summer is coming up I thought I needed some lightweight 'summery' lipsticks - especially as I am trying to break my tendency for dark lips habit.

Last month I won the lovely Jaynie Shannon's MAC lipstick giveaway, I was so shocked as I'm not used to winning things ever so I was insanely happy, especially because it was a MAC lipstick of my choice. Anyone who knows me well will know that I tend to go for bold colours on my lips instead of eyes, it has just been something I have always done as a huge lipstick junkie. I'm awful at following makeup trends, I do wear corals, reds and oranges in summer but you'll still see me wearing deep reds and purples most of the time - although they're 'autumn/winter' colours they just seem to always be on my lips. If any of you are familiar with 'Media' then you'll know this probably isn't a summer shade whatsoever, but hey ho I still decided to select this shade as it is genuinely just 'me'.

Well what can I say? I honestly have NO idea why I didn't buy this brush before. It's ridiculous the amount of positive reviews I have seen on the Real Techniques brushes, they're so hyped up and I can honestly see why. Being a beauty blogger and after following Pixiwoo for years I thought it was about time I set aside a bit of cash for my first two Real Techniques brushes (crazy to think I never had any!). Although I'd never tried their brushes before I knew that my expectations would be fulfilled, I've not ever heard a bad thing about Sam and Nic Chapman's brushes.
The Expert Face Brush - wow. It claims to make your face look flawless and it honestly does. It applies foundation completely evenly around your face while still leaving a radiant dewy look, what more could a girl really ask for? I've only had this for a week but it has genuinely made me feel so much more confident about my foundation. I was planning to do a review on this brush although because there are SO many reviews out there and I'm a bit late to jump on the bandwagon I thought I'd leave that as I am probably the last of many to buy this brush. Call me sad but I'm making it my aim to collect every single one of RT brushes, I don't think I'll be let down!
The Expert Face Brush by Real Techniques retails at £9.99 and can be bought in Boots, Superdrug, RealTechniques & Various other websites
Have you tried this brush? Which are you favourite RT brushes?

Every girl needs a good beauty shopping trip once in a while right? I'm usually stingy with money, and although I desperately need (or should I say want) half the things from Superdrug or Boots, I never seem to end up buying them. Yesterday I went into Leeds with my mum, stupidly I wore a jumper and blazer which was not good seen as though it was absolutely boiling - and for those of you who believe shopping is a sport, you will know how hard it is when you're excessively sweating and trying to find everything you want to buy in a short period of time (I probably didn't give you the best image of myself then!). I picked up a few products as I went out last night and just needed a few extra things which I'd run out of, and Boots and Superdrug both have pretty good deals on at the moment so I would recommend going there soon and taking advantage. Most of what I bought is pretty standard and boring but I thought I'd share as I haven't done a haul in a while.

The other day I received one of Salcura's sample packs through the post. I'd been waiting for a while for this so I was excited when I saw the package waiting for me when I got home from school. Skin care is just as important as makeup and cosmetics, especially because it can completely change the application of a product when applied to your face. I wanted to try this out before I made a purchase as although I had read many positive things about the brand, I wanted to make sure it worked for my skin before buying something which would break me out of give me an allergic reaction. Unfortunately my skin is really sensitive and I do have Eczema, so when I saw this was good for both dry skin and Eczema I thought I couldn't really go wrong with it. I requested for a free sample pack through their website here and you can chose between the Zeoderm sample pack (which is the one featured in this blog post) or the Antiac sample pack.
